SlutOmegle is committed to making our platform accessible to as many people as possible, including users with disabilities. This statement explains what we've done so far, what we know still needs work, and how to reach us if you run into barriers.

🎯 1. Our Goal

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standard. This is the internationally recognized benchmark for web accessibility, and it covers things like screen reader compatibility, keyboard navigation, color contrast, and text alternatives for images.

We're not perfect yet — accessibility is an ongoing process, not a checkbox. But we're actively working on it and take it seriously.

2. What We've Done

⌨️ Keyboard Navigation Core site features can be navigated using only a keyboard — no mouse required.
🎨 Color Contrast Text and background colors meet WCAG AA contrast ratios throughout the site.
🖼️ Alt Text for Images All meaningful images include descriptive alternative text for screen readers.
📱 Responsive Design The site works across screen sizes and supports text resizing up to 200% without loss of functionality.
🏗️ Semantic HTML Proper heading hierarchy, landmark regions, and ARIA labels where needed.
🔗 Skip Navigation "Skip to content" links are available for keyboard and screen reader users.

🔧 3. Known Limitations

We're honest about what still needs work:

  • Live video chat — the real-time video component has inherent accessibility challenges (visual-only content). We're researching ways to improve this, including text-only mode support.
  • Third-party content — advertisements and embedded content from third parties may not meet the same accessibility standards. We encourage ad partners to improve their accessibility but can't guarantee compliance.
  • Older blog posts — some earlier articles may have accessibility gaps (missing alt text, suboptimal heading structure). We're working through them progressively.
🔄
We're continuously improving. Accessibility is part of our development process — new features and content are checked against WCAG 2.1 AA before going live.

🧪 4. Testing

We test accessibility using a combination of:

  • Automated tools — axe, WAVE, Lighthouse accessibility audits.
  • Manual testing — keyboard-only navigation, screen reader testing (NVDA, VoiceOver).
  • User feedback — reports from real users who encounter barriers (see below).

📢 5. Reporting a Barrier

If you encounter an accessibility barrier on SlutOmegle — something that prevents you from using the site effectively — please let us know. We take these reports seriously and aim to fix issues promptly.

When reporting, it helps if you include:

  • The page URL where you encountered the problem.
  • A description of the issue and what you were trying to do.
  • The assistive technology you're using (screen reader, voice control, etc.).
  • Your browser and operating system.
